While we carefully select and package every item, we understand that sometimes you may need to return or exchange a product. Our policy is designed to be as straightforward as cultivating your favourite shrubs.
Our Returns Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order, provided the items are in their original condition with all packaging intact. Your satisfaction with our gardening essentials is as important to us as the health of your plants.
Important Exceptions
For the wellbeing of all our gardening community, we cannot accept returns of:
- Live plants (including A-Z perennials, shrubs, bamboos & grasses, climbers, conifers, and outdoor plants) due to their perishable nature
- Opened garden chemicals (such as garden paint & fence treatments)
- Personalised items (like custom-cut garden trellis or screening)
These exceptions help us maintain the highest standards for all our customers.

Step 2: Receive Return Instructions
Within 2 business days, we’ll email you:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping instructions
- Return address (40 St Peters St, Derby, GB DE1L 8GF)
Step 3: Package and Ship
Please repackage the item(s) securely in their original packaging. Include all tags and accessories for items like cutting tools or digging tools. Ship to the provided address using a trackable service.
Step 4: Processing Your Return
Once received, we’ll inspect the items within 3-5 business days. For exchanges, we’ll ship your new items immediately. For refunds, please allow:
- Credit card/PayPal payments: 5-10 business days for processing
- Original payment method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). For exchanges, we’ll cover the shipping costs of the replacement items.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your garden essentials arrive damaged or incorrect (like receiving plastic pots instead of glazed planters), please contact us immediately with photos of the items and packaging. We’ll arrange a free return and expedite your replacement.
